FAQ

We get it, our mobile tap trailer is unique, and you have lots of questions. If you have additional questions, please reach out to us and we will answer them as soon as possible.

Who supplies the beverages?

The renter is responsible for procuring the beverages of choice to be used with our rental tap trailer. If you need assistance choosing, coming up with quantities, or local suppliers, we have your back!

Do you have a liquor license?

The Hoppy Camper does not poses a liquor license as we do not transport, sell, or purchase alcohol directly. We are fully ensured with the proper general liability, and liquor liability insurance.

How do the beverages stay cold?

Our mobile tap trailer is completely off grid! Not power needed. With the use of a jumper box system (cooler with coils and ice) your beer, cocktail, or NA beverages will stay cold for countless hours. We also utilize keg insulated covers to further insulate the system in the warm summer months.

How does the tap trailer get set up?

We will deliver, set up, and break down the hoppy camper at the end of use.

Who serves the beverages?

The hoppy camper tap trailer is designed for self service in mind. Once set up, have your guests help themselves! Optional bartender packages are available if you prefer full service.

What beverages can you serve?

Ideally, the tap trailer system is set up for kegs with standard sankey D style connectors. Refillable 5 gallon kegs are also offered as an add-on option for serving mixed cocktails, soda, or other non alcoholic beverage.

What beverages are not allowed?

Straight coffee, red wine, or any highly acidic beverages such as lime juice are not allowed in the tap lines due to excessive cleaning needed.

What if it rains?

Not to worry, the hoppy camper is 100% water resistant due to several coats of marine grade varnish. However, we do strongly recommend coverage during bad weather to maintain happy guests!

Do you include glasses?

We do offer packages to include plastic cups with the trailer. If you prefer to provide your own, no problem! If you're renting for a venue, most locations will supply. Any glasses included on the trailer are decorative and are not intended for use.
